Puppy Training

Training, play and socialisation are key to developing a confident and well-balanced adult dog so we love it when new puppy owners get us involved in their training early on!

As well as providing essential mental stimulation, training gives your puppy the ability and confidence to cope with the many new experiences he will be faced with as he grows up.

We can help guide you through puppyhood, giving advice on what to expect as well as when and how to implement basic training. In addition to teaching basic obedience, our aim is to develop self-control, calmness and good manners - which will be the foundation for all of your future training.

If you want to give your puppy the best start contact us to arrange a consultation and find out how we can help your puppy develop the life skills you need to live happily together!

Problem Solving Training

It’s never too late to train your dog and if you’ve been struggling to manage your dog’s behaviour,
we want to hear from you!

Perhaps you’re finding it difficult to transfer the skills you learned in a class environment into the
real world? Or maybe you’ve rehomed a dog who could benefit from some training? We can provide you with the knowledge and skills to work with your dog and overcome your struggles.

Common challenges that we’ve helped owners and dogs overcome include:

  • Pulling on the lead

  • Over stimulation

  • Lack of engagement

  • Recall

  • Lead reactivity

  • Reactivity to other dogs

Contact us for a free initial assessment over the phone, which can then be followed up with in-
person training sessions at a time to suit you. Alternatively, if we feel that your dog would benefit
from the experience of a canine behaviorist we can refer you on to one of the excellent
behaviorists we have in the local area.

Whether we help you train your puppy from the beginning or do some problem solving with your adult dog, our aim is to help you develop a well-balanced, confident dog so get in touch today to find out how we can help you!
